Cruel thugs push woman off mobility scooter in Bedworth

Police are hunting for two yobs who pushed an elderly woman off her mobility scooter in Bedworth town centre.

The attack, in broad daylight, left the 62-year-old victim shaken and bruised and an appeal has been made for information.

Two youths, who had their faces covered, upended her vehicle as the disabled woman travelled along Chapel Street at 10.30am on Saturday, July 12.

The offenders were both described as white, wearing baseball caps and dark hooded tops. Following their mindless assault, they ran off away from the town.

Police in Warwickshire are asking witnesses or anyone with any information to contact them on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
