Two men seriously injured in Coventry city centre attack

Two men have been left with serious head and facial injuries after they were attacked in Coventry city centre this afternoon (Monday 7).
West Midlands Police have confirmed that an investigation is underway after the assault near to Lady Herbert’s Gardens and Millennium Point just after 4pm.
Police officers swamped the area and a 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of wounding and is currently in police custody.
Anyone who witnessed the assault is asked to call police on 101.
