Fire crews were called out to a tower block in Coventry after a firework was set off inside.
Two fire engines from Radford station and a further two from Foleshill were dispatched to the incident at Nauls Mill House in Middleborough Road, Radford, at 11.45pm last night.
West Midlands Fire Service said a firework had been set alight in the 11th floor lobby of the 16-storey building.
The area was left smoke-logged and a door was damaged.
Fire crews made the area safe and checked on residents. Fortunately no-one was hurt.

The idiots that did this will never be any good to society. Once caught they ought be locked up for 20 years.
Of course it'll fit; you just need a bigger hammer.
