Cocaine and cannabis seized by cops in raid on Spon End flat

A large amount of cocaine and herbal cannabis has been seized on a police raid on a Coventry flat.
Cops raided Spon Gate House in Butts Road, Spon End, at 8pm last night.
Police wouldn’t say how much cocaine and cannabis was seized in the raid, but officers tweeted that the find was “substantial”.
A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possessing drugs with intent to supply.
He was questioned by officers before being released on bail pending further inquiries.
The arrest is the latest move by Coventry Police as they look to stamp out illegal drug distribution in Coventry.
In May officers found the biggest cannabis factory in the city’s history, seizing £1.5million of drugs.
Anyone with information about illegal drug supply should call 101.
