Nuneaton beat leaders Farnborough

Nuneaton Town took the scalp of previously unbeaten Southern League Premier Division leaders Farnborough at Cherrywood Road on Saturday.

Boro won 2-0 thanks to goals from Lee Moore and Justin Marsden either side of the interval.

Fourth-placed Nuneaton are now just six points behind Farnborough.

Mid-table Leamington won 3-2 at Tiverton Town while winless Rugby Town's torrid season continued with a 3-1 defeat at Didcot.

Luke Corbett bagged a brace at Tiverton with Mark Bellingham netting a third for Brakes.

Josh Thompson's goal briefly gave Valley hope in Oxfordshire but Rugby could not add to their tally.

Bedworth United shipped in two late goals in their 2-0 defeat at Leighton Town in Division One Midlands.

In the Midland Alliance Coventry Sphinx came from behind to beat Stratford Town 3-1.

Coleshill Town won 3-0 at Cradley Town while Studley lost by the same scoreline at home to Kirby Muxloe.
