A new father-of-one has been appointed a position as a part of the town's bus team.
Kam Gill has been appointed operations manager for the Stagecoach depot after previously working as operations manager at the Preston depot for six months last year.
Mr Gill who enjoys mountain climbing, recently became a father after his son, Zorav was born on April 17. He originally joined the company in 2011 on a Stagecoach graduate scheme in Perth, Scotland, after having gained a BA degree in law and passing his LPC and LLM in Law at Leicester university.
A year after starting with the company, the family moved down south, when Mr Gill was made assistant operations manager in Dover.
Both him and his wife Natasha have moved back to the area since Mr Gill received news of the job.
The 31-year-old said: "In my new position, it is only natural that I want to provide the best possible bus service for local people, ensuring we meet the high standards that Stagecoach sets across the board."
