Main route through Leamington Spa to shut for two weeks

Drivers in Warwickshire are being warned about possible disruption due to the temporary closure of a main road in and out of Leamington Spa.

The A452 Kenilworth Road will shut for two weeks from 06:00 on Monday so workmen can lay underground cable, Western Power Distribution said.

The work will take place between the Ramada Hotel roundabout and the roundabout at Old Milverton Lane.

The firm said traffic is expected lighter over the Easter period.

The work is part of an £8m electricity network investment project in South Warwickshire which is expected to be completed by September.
