PLANS have been submitted to add a takeaway to the side of a general store in Arley.

Proposals have been submitted to add a new fish and chip shop to the side of Gun Hill Post Office, in Gun Hill.

The plans for the takeaway, which will not be inside the store but through an external entrance, were submitted to Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council on Monday.

There is a target decision date of March 26 when the plans are expected to be approved or dismissed.
