Eager cookery fans at Kenilworth Manor care home have come up with the perfect recipe for success as they launch their very own cooking book.
The group at Thickthorn transformed their passion into a professional recipe guide in what began as a bit of fun - but soon took on a professional edge after gaining popularity at the home. Proceeds from Taste & See - which includes 40 main courses and 24 puddings - will go towards activities and outings for residents. Contact 858030 to get a copy of the new book for £5.
Paula Kennedy, Manager at Kenilworth Manor said: “Our staff and residents have really enjoyed working together to develop the recipes.
“Just ahead of Christmas it has been a very worthwhile activity for everyone to get involved in and we’ve got some inspired dishes.”
