Gang attack man and steal his £35,000 car in Foleshill

A gang of robbers beat a man to the ground and stole his £35,000 car outside a shop in Foleshill.



The attack happened in Station Street West, outside GB Electrics, at 5.35pm last Thursday.

When the man went to open his boot two men – who were hiding in a nearby bush – ran up and attacked him.

Two others then joined in before escaping in the 45-year-old victim’s dark blue Audi S3 Quattro.

Det Con Danielle Lovett from Coventry’s serious investigation team, said: “This was a nasty attack, following which the victim suffered serious bruising and cuts.

“We know that there were people in the area at the time of the robbery, in particular we would like to trace a woman and a man who may have seen the robbery or part of the incident.”
