Coventry houses badly damaged in arson attack

Four derelict houses in Coventry have been severely damaged in an arson attack.
More than 20 firefighters were called to an address in Ashorne Close in the Wood End of the city on Friday evening.
The roofs of all four terraced houses were completely destroyed by the fire, West Midlands Fire Service said.
In a separate incident, more than 30 firefighters were called to a serious fire at a factory unit in Attleborough in Nuneaton. The cause is not known.
Almost all of the houses in that part of Ashorne Close are boarded-up awaiting demolition so this story is not quite as sensational as it frst appears.
