The popular man-made beach makes a return to its original location of Shelton Square, in Coventry city centre, from Saturday.

It will be open from 10am to 4pm every day for a week and is completely free for people to enjoy.

Deckchairs, buckets and spades will help add to the seaside atmosphere.

More daring visitors can try their hand at a special surf simulator for a feel of the waves.

And children of all ages will be able to enjoy playing on a bouncy castle which will also be set up in the square until Saturday August 24.
