People are being warned by police not to swim in a disused gravel pit in Warwickshire.
Police said there have been a number of reports of people swimming in the pit, known locally as The Slatey, near Marston Lane in Bedworth.
They stressed the dangers of injury or drowning and said they are concerned the numbers of swimmers could increase in the hot weather and school holidays.
The pit is on private land and police said swimming in it would be trespass.
