Benefits and Tax Credits are changing - and a pop-up advice shop is helping to make sure people are ready for the national welfare reform changes.
Partners within the Coventry Partnership including the City Council, Whitefriars Housing, Citizens' Advice Bureau and the Coventry Law Centre are working together to ensure that residents of the city know about these Welfare Reform changes including:
Under-occupancy (sometimes called the bedroom tax)
Council Tax and Housing Benefits
Changes to Disability Living Allowance
Personal Independence Payments
Money and Debt Advice
How to cut your energy bills and keep your home warm
The city centre 'Pop Up' shop is open this week in Cathedral Lanes Shopping Centre, from 10am to 3pm from Monday (18 March) to Friday (22 March).
It is an opportunity for you to find out more about Welfare Reform and how it might affect you.
If you would like information and advice on these changes then please come along.
