Foleshill man dies after Nuneaton car crash

A COVENTRY man who died in hospital ten days after a car crash in Nuneaton has been named.

Mohamed Kasim Mota, aged 56, of Eagle Street, Foleshill, was hurt in a head-on collision in Mancetter Road on Wednesday, March 6.

He suffered serious internal injuries and died at Coventry’s University Hospital on Wednesday, March 16.

An inquest into his death has been opened and adjourned.

The crash between Mr Mota’s silver Nissan Almera and a Toyota Avensis happened near the Windmill Sports and Social Club just before 9pm.

The Avensis driver, a 59-year-old man, was treated for a head injury.
