The question has to be, could we repeat what happened all those years ago?

Argentine aircraft were practicing low-level strikes against aircraft carriers with the help of the Brazillian Navy last year but I was the only one who seemed to notice?
Not that the Argies have learned much. They didn't have any anti-submarine capability in 1982 and they still don't have any today!

I think a lot of people have buried their heads in the sand.
The Falklands are a long way away, and it's a case of out of sight, out of mind.
Interesting point that you make about Brazil assisting them. Brazil was always rumoured to have assisted us first time around. Allegedly, some "Brazilian" Canberras (reconnaissance aircraft) were quite active in the area at the time. I believe we "donated" a few Canberras to Brazil after the war!

I believe that was Chile Rebbonk? Either way it's extremely unlikely Brazil would offer military assistance to Argentina during an actual war.

You are quite right Dutchman, it was Chile.
My apologies, a case of post in haste, repent at leisure!
