Enterprising Nicola Hill has decided a pop-up Christmas craft shop could be just what Warwick needs over the next few weekends.

Taking space in the old Jade Electrical shop - which has stood empty in Market Place for the past three years after the company relocated to another part of town - Nicola has decided to offer market stalls to up to 14 local makers and designers.

And already Emma Harding, who creates mosaics from broken pottery and stained glass and illustrator Sue Price-Jones, who runs Ceri Jam Design from her home in Emscote Road, have taken stalls.

Nicola said: “We will be opening every Saturday from today as well as for Warwick’s Victorian evening on November 29 and then again on December 14 and 21 when there will be a wide range of unusual gifts, furniture and even hand-decorated chocolate biscuits.”

To rent space, for £20 a day, craft workers can contact Nicola at nicola@mrshill.co.uk
