At least 2 MPs to face charges

At least two of the six MPs and peers under investigation by police over expenses fraud will be charged today.
The Director of Public Prosecutions, Keir Starmer, QC, will make a live TV statement at 11am on which parliamentarians or peers should face trial.
Although his decision was a closely guarded secret last night, Scotland Yard officers are adamant there is sufficient evidence for charges of fraud or false accounting, with maximum jail penalties of ten or seven years.
