A disused pub in Canley, Coventry was struck by fire in a suspected arson attack last night.
A crew from Canley and a crew from Radford were sent to The Dolphin pub, a now derelict building in Sheriff Avenue, Canley, at 10pm.
The fire affected the ground floor bar area of the venue.
One hose reel was used to put out the flames and firefighters remained at the scene for about an hour.
No one was injured.
Paul Arnold, crew commander at Canley fire station, said: “It was a fairly minor fire and it was extinguished quickly.
“We believe it was caused by arson.”
