Thieves threatened staff with a knife during an armed robbery at a Coventry store.

Two men threatened staff at Pat’s Pantry, in Sewall Highway, Wyken, on Saturday July 21 at about 7.20pm.

One of the thieves held a knife to the member of staff and demanded cash and cigarettes.

The masked men are described as white, about 6ft 3ins and wearing dark clothing. Detectives are now appealing for anyone who may have seen the incident or saw the men acting suspiciously to come forward.

Anyone with information should call Coventry CID on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
