A lone woman was subjected to a horrific sex attack in Coventry city centre at the hands of three men.
The 23-year-old had been drinking with friends at the Flying Standard pub just before the incident.
She had left the pub and was only a few yards away in Priory Row, on grassland close to Coventry Cathedral, when she was attacked.
Police have now released CCTV of three men they want to speak to after the horrifying ordeal.
Det Con Zoe Oldbury, from Coventry Public Protection Unit, said: “This was a serious assault on a lone woman by three men who exploited her vulnerability for their own gratification.
"There will have been many people out in Coventry on this particular evening and we are keen to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious at the location of the offence or anyone who may have seen men matching these descriptions in the city centre.
“Someone will know who is responsible for this attack and I would urge them to do the right thing and give us a call.”
As well as issuing the images police have released descriptions off all three men to try and jog the memories of anyone who may have been out at the same time.
The first man is white, aged about 30-years-old, around 5ft 10ins tall, of medium build with short brown hair.
He was wearing a black jacket with two chest pockets and two waist pockets as well as blue jeans.
The second man was also white, about 5ft 6ins tall, of medium build with a stubbly ginger beard.
The final man police want to speak to is described as Asian.
Since the attack, between 9.55-10.30pm on Sunday January 15, police have conducted extensive enquiries to identify the attackers.
But they have never been found and now the force is appealing for the public to help find them.
Det Con Oldbury added: “I would also like to reassure people that although this was a very serious incident and the community will no doubt be concerned about what has happened, attacks such as this are extremely rare in Coventry.”
If you think you know any of the men identified, or you may be able to help with the investigation in another way, call Coventry Police on 101.
Alternatively call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
