A flood-prone town in Warwickshire is to get £200,000 worth of flood defence work from the Environment Agency.
Residents lived in caravans in their driveways after more than 40 homes were flooded in Bedworth, Warwickshire, on 13 December 2008.
The flooding affected most homes in Delamere Road and some properties in two other roads.
Heavy rain caused a river to rise and backed up a drainage ditch. The work should stop this happening again.
