Events are being staged to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Coventry Corporation Transport.
An exhibition of model buses and garages starts a three-month run at the Bedworth Heritage Centre on Friday.
And an open day featuring 30 old buses is being held at Coventry Transport Museum depot, in Sandy Lane, Radford, on Saturday, May 12.
Coventry Corporation Transport was formed in January, 1912, when it took over services operated by the Coventry Electric Tramways Company.
The organisation was axed in 1974 when all of the city’s 300-plus buses came under the control of the West Midlands Passenger Transport Executive.
