At least one travel agents in Coventry will close after Thomas Cook announced huge losses.
The takeover of the Co-op Travel branch in Bull Yard, city centre, was only completed by Thomas Cook in October.
But after a review of the business bosses have decided to close it down.
Four staff are affected and will enter into a 90-day consultation period. A spokesman for the firm said they were looking to redeploy staff elsewhere.
Across the entire UK 115 stores will be shut and 661 jobs will be lost in total.
More closures will be announced over the next two years.
