A body has been discovered by a walker in a field in Coventry.
The man’s body was found in an area between the A444 and Burbages Lane, close to Olympia Motors, on Thursday morning.
Police are trying to establish whether the body is that of missing Coventry man Peter Brown.
The city pensioner went missing from his sheltered accommodation in Everdon Road, Holbrooks, at the end of October.
Officers believed the 68-year-old attended University Hospital, Walsgrave, for treatment to a head injury the following day and was discharged a few hours later.
Mr Brown’s photograph and details were released to the media in a bid to find him.
