Hazardous substance found near Cov Airport

Four people have been treated after a mystery substance was found near Coventry Airport.



Emergency services were called to Parcelforce on Siskin Parway near Bagington.

Ten people were evacuated.

Two women, believed to be in their 30s were treated at the scene for itchy eyes and skin and a runny nose.

Two other people were taken to University Hospital Coventry and they had to go through a de-contamination tent before they were allowed to go in.

A team of experts are now trying to work of what the substance is and whether or not it is dangerous.
