Nuneaton Town have moved to secure the services of striker Wesley York by agreeing a contract with the teenager.
York, 18, has impressed manager Kevin Wilkin since making his debut from the substitute bench in the league win at Harrogate earlier this month.
He followed it up with goals in the matches against Workington and Sutton Coldfield prompting the Blue Square Bet North club to offer him a deal.
Wilkin said: "It is early days and we want to work with York to develop him."
He added: "We are very mindful and looking forward to him complimenting the players in the current squad."
Chairman Ian Neale believed York's contract was an "obvious progression following the initial impression Wesley had left".
Neale continued: "His attitude and family support is first class which makes the whole package."
