Brandon car crash: One man dead

A man has died after the car he was in hit a tree in Coventry.



West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to Brandon Lane, in the Brandon area of the city, at just after 16:05 BST on Friday.

An ambulance, a rapid response vehicle and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire air ambulance were sent to the scene.

An ambulance service spokeswoman said the single occupant of the car, a man, was confirmed dead at the scene.
