Coventry Blaze coach Paul Thompson considers changes

Coventry Blaze head coach Paul Thompson is threatening changes to his roster as he awaits the arrival of Canadian defenceman Dustin Wood this week.



Thompson blamed his defence for the 5-2 defeat at home to Belfast Giants.

"I can't keep waiting, right now our defence aren't doing the job they were brought in to do", said Thompson.

"I've got to sit down with the coaches and the owners and have a good look at who we're paying, where we're paying and where we can adjust."
