Coventry Bees maintained their hopes of reaching the Elite League play-offs with a 49-41 victory over Peterborough on Monday night.
Schlein weighed in with 23 points across the two meetingsBees had lost 54-40 at Panthers earlier in the day, but bounced back to pick up three points at Brandon.
Guest riders Rory Schlein and Daniel King made double figures in both meetings for a depleted Coventry team.
Bees are likely to need 11 more points from their final five fixtures of the regular season to make the top four.
