A Coventry man is among of group who have been jailed today for their part in the riots in Birmingham and the West Midlands.
Ayub Ahmed, aged 23, of Blenheim Avenue, Coventry, was sentenced to 20 months imprisonment after admitting handling stolen goods.
He was found by police carrying Orange mobile phones and Armani goods.
In all 20 people have been jailed today over the violence and looting across the West Midlands.
One -25-year old Esa Harding from Birmingham’s Winson Green was given 20 months behind bars for stealing half a million pounds worth of stock from Armani in the Mailbox.
Pictured right is the moment hundreds of looters raided it.
Police have released CCTV images of a large group of masked and unmasked offenders entering that store at around 10:15pm on Monday 8 August.
They’re hoping you’ll be able to help identify the rest of them.
