With 31 bedrooms I suspect they'll get far more than £650,000.

It may not remain a hotel though. All the money these days seems to be in care homes.

I think you've hit the nail on the head there. Developers will be straight in there to change it into a care home.

Developers know that if they bring a building like Brooklands Grange upto the required code they can pretty much expect to have full occupancy unlike a hotel.

It's just a pity that some of these care homes are run without a great deal of 'care' at all.
