Coventry Bees continued their bid for the Elite League play-offs by claiming two points in their 45-45 draw at Belle Vue on Monday.Captain Eddie Kennett (14) top-scored for Bees, who were without their number one Emil Sayfutdinov for the meeting.
Coventry's Australian teenager Nick Morris also weighed in with double figures, while Rory Schlein made 13 for the hosts.
Bees are four points off fourth-placed Lakeside with six matches in hand.
Kennett told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire: "I came here and I said to myself that I've got to do the job, not just for myself but as a team.
"It's a shame we didn't have Emil tonight. I didn't actually know he was missing so it was a bit of a shock to the system when I turned up and we had no number one.
"We all tried our best. We'll take a draw - I'm happy with that - but it would have been nice to take everything."
