Coventry Bees made it three home wins in a row with a narrow 48-45 victory over Birmingham Brummies on Friday.Captain Eddie Kennett (13) top scored for the Bees, but former Coventry rider Krzysztof Kasprzak stole the show with a maximum 18-point haul.
Kennett was one of three Coventry riders to make double points.
Brummies pick up a point from the meeting because of the close scores, helped by an 8-1 in heat 13 at Brandon.
Coventry boss Alun Rossiter said: "Kasprzak certainly haunted us. They came here and battled."
