Police have charged a man with murdering a 40-year old hit by a bus in Leamington.
Paul Carscadden – who lived in the middle of the town – was run over on Bath Street just before 11:30 on Friday 24th June and died at the scene.
Ian Chaundy, who is 47 and also from Leamington was charged with murder when he attended the town’s police station this morning.
He appeared at the local magistrates court earlier and was remanded in custody to go before Warwick Crown Court in Leamington tomorrow.
Mr Carscadden’s father David, speaking on behalf of the whole family, has paid tribute to him:
“Paul was a very loved son, brother, uncle and partner who lived life to the full and will be sadly missed by all those that knew him.”
