The Telegraph website was apparently unable to manage a picture? :roll:

She should do what I do and dump everything in the green bin. That way it gets emptied more often and never smells.

Also I've long been of the belief that washing out plastic food containers or removing labels from glass bottles probably wastes more resources in the form of energy and water than simply dumping them.

I remember having exactly that discussion prior to the introduction of recycling. I think that as we're facing water shortages (a joke as we're actually surrounded by the stuff) the argument holds firm.
