A lad has been arrested after a 21-year old was seriously injured at a Coventry petrol station.
Forensics examine the car in which the attack took placeThe 20-year old is being questioned over an incident at BP on Ansty Road early on Bank Holiday Monday.
He is the sixth person to be arrested in connection with the attack.
Two others – 27-year old Andrew Fitzpatrick from Dawes Close in Walsgrave and 24-year old Mark King from nearby Elizabeth Road have been charged with wounding and are due in court again tomorrow.
They are also accused of another assault as well as criminal damage and possessing an offensive weapon.
The 21-year old victim remains critically ill at Coventry’s University Hospital.
Three other men from the city arrested at the time have been bailed pending further enquiries.
