A roadshow is beginning in Warwickshire today (Thursday) to fight plans for the HS2 train line set to slice through the county.
The small village of Ladbroke is the first area to host one of a string of events and will host large touch screens with information about the plans on the Bell Inn pub car park, on Banbury Road.
The event will run until 8pm and provide detail on the line’s route, properties affected and will host sound booths where the noise of the 250mph trains can be experienced.
Ladbroke will be cut in half if the £17 billion London to Birmingham line gets the go-ahead.
A public consultation runs until July 29.
