Man kills himself following row in Nuneaton

A man has stabbed himself to death after injuring his partner and making threats to kill himself, police said.



Officers were called to Stockingford in Nuneaton on Friday following what has been described as a domestic disturbance.

The man's partner left the home with her children and the man later called relatives apparently threatening suicide.

Officers returned to the property and found his body after forcing entry.

A spokesman for Warkwickshire Police said: "Police attended the address after calls from the man's immediate family and forced their way into the property.

"They found a man deceased having stabbed himself.

"No other persons were injured and the injuries are self-inflicted."
