Ironman Paddy Doyle has broken 30 world fitness records in a year – itself a world record.
The 45-year-old former paratrooper, from Balsall Common, near Coventry, broke the previous record of 29 in one year.
Feats included walking 10km with a 50lb backpack in two hours 25 minutes and doing 40 press-ups in a minute carrying a 50lb backpack.
Paddy now wants to claim more titles before the year deadline ends on Sunday, July 31.
He said: “My body is aching all over as the injuries have increased from my training and challenges.
“I feel mentally drained but now I can see light at the end of the tunnel.”
