A seventh man has now been charged over the murder of a businessman police think met his end in Warwickshire.
Jesse Richards was reported missing in July 2009 after a business trip that took him to the Cleeve Prior area of Worcestershire.
Detectives believe Jesse was abducted and taken by van to fields near Bedworth, where the vehicle was later found abandoned and burnt out.
West Mercia Police offered a £10,000 reward for information leading to the recovery of Jesse, whose body has never been recovered.
At the time of the incident, Jesse was a 41-year-old family man with a wife and three children who lived in Surrey.
A 37-year old man from Essex is due at Birmingham Magistrates accused of murder and is the seventh person to be charged over Jesse’s killing.
Last month two Coventry men – aged 49 and 27 - appeared in court for the second time via videolink charged with murder.
A third local individual – a 29-year old man from Nuneaton – has also been charged with perverting the course of justice, along with another man.
Two others – Joseph Doe from Essex and David Butler from Slough, who are both in their 30s – had already been charged with Mr Richards’ murder and will be back in court in May.
