Two child sex offenders who were the first twins to be being featured on the "most wanted" police website have been arrested in France.Kenneth and Thomas Parker are suspected of breaching the requirements of the sex offenders register, after being convicted of offences against children.
Sussex Police said the pair, aged 56, who have links to Warwickshire and Sussex, would be returned to the UK.
Kenneth Parker was arrested on Wednesday, Thomas was held last week.
'Seeking extradition'The Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre (CEOP) put the pair on its most wanted list in March.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said: "We are glad to hear that Kenneth Parker is in custody following the CEOP most wanted appeal and we will be seeking his extradition".
CEOP said Kenneth Parker was arrested for breaching his notification requirements, and Thomas, who was held in connection with a non-sexually related matter, had also been wanted for the same offence.
Det Ch Insp Nigel Jones, of Warwickshire Police, said: "We are really pleased that both Parker twins are now in custody and are grateful to the Child Exploitation and Online Protection (CEOP) Centre for their support."
