The number 12 bus, which runs from Coventry City centre to Warwick University and Leamington, via Kenilworth, collided on the carriageway close to the Sir Henry Parkes road island.

The accident happened at about 9am.

A spokesman for National Express, which operates the Travel Coventry service, said: “There were no injuries to anyone on board.”

The bus’s right front window was smashed. It is not known if the car driver sustained any injuries.
