The fifth Kenilworth Business Fair has been hailed as a huge success by its organisers.

This was after more than 100 visitors browsed exhibitions set up by around 70 local businesses and organisations at the event at the Holiday Inn last Thursday.

Nina Bale, from Ginger the Art of Print, said: “It was great to not only speak to members of the public at the business fair event, but also to meet other local business owners.”

Emma Tombs from Crazy 4 Cakes added: “I have taken part in lots of Wedding Fayres, but what I loved about this business fair was the huge variety of different stands.

“It made me realise just how much a small town like Kenilworth has to offer.”

As well as all the exhibitions, David Moorcroft OBE opened the event and St Augustine’s Primary School children sang songs.

Sandra Garlick, chairman of the fair’s organising committee, said: “It’s been hard, but enjoyable work pulling the exhibition together and it makes it all worthwhile when you see the day go as well as it did.

“I would like to say a big thank you to our main sponsors the Holiday Inn, Lloyds TSB Commercial, Warwick University and Penmans Solicitors LLP. These sponsors, along with the support from the town’s businesses and the community, made the day such a success.”
