Driver and 10 pupils hurt in Coventry collision

A motorist and 10 pupils have been hurt in a serious collision between a bus and car in Coventry.



The bus was carrying school children when it collided with the car in Harnall Lane East at about 0755 GMT.

The car driver had serious arm injuries and was immobilised on a spinal board. Three boys and a girl on the bus were also taken to hospital for treatment.

Six other children on the bus had minor injuries. The bus driver was unhurt, West Midlands Ambulance Service said.
