Loved ones have left floral tributes in Quorn Way, Ernesford Grange, following Sunday’s fatal collision.

A 21-year-old man, who was a pillion passenger on the motorbike, died after suffering “multiple serious injuries” in the incident on Sunday afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the scene at 1.20pm but he died shortly after arriving at University Hospital, Walsgrave.

Police say the man, whose identity is yet to be made public, was “local” to the scene of the crash and had been wearing a helmet at the time of the collision.

Flowers and a cuddly toy have since been left at the roadside in Quorn Way.

One read: “Michael, you were the best brother in the world and a great uncle to Ky and Ty.

“Miss you so much. I can’t believe you’ve gone from us. Miss you forever.

“Love you so much it hurts.

“Sleep well and rest in peace. Love you always.
