Five people have been picked up in dawn raids in Coventry this morning in connection with the attempted murder of a taxi driver in Berkshire.
Police raided seven addresses in Foleshill, Binley, Radford and Holbrooks in the early hours.
The five – who are aged between 26 and 35 – have been taken down to a Thames Valley police station for questioning.
They’re all being held over an incident last September where a gunman opened fire on a taxi driver after he pulled up on his driveway.
He was shot three times in the chest, and spent two days in hospital.
Police in Reading also arrested a man at the same time this morning.
