Paramedics say a woman’s lucky to be alive after her car collided with a tree this morning in Warwick.
She was driving along Wathen Road at around 9:15am when her car left the road.
The woman – who’s in her late 20′s – suffered multiple serious leg injuries but had escaped the vehicle by the time paramedics got there.
She then had emergency treatment at the scene before being airlifted to Coventry University Hospital.
Senior Paramedic Officer Martyn Scott said: “The hospital had been pre-alerted to the patient’s arrival and her serious injuries.
“Considering the damage to the vehicle, the woman is fortunate not to have suffered more serious or even fatal injuries.”
