Police are worried about a Coventry woman who hasn’t been since she left home to go to the doctors.
35-year old Harminder Kaur from Radford was due to see her GP about a sore throat around midday last Wednesday, but never arrived.
Her parents, who she lives with, say her disappearance is completely out of character.
Coventry Police Missing Persons Co-ordinator Claire Edwards, said: “Harminder is from a close-knit Asian family. Her parents are very worried – they desperately want to know she is safe and well.”
“Little is known about Harminder’s social life so we’d like to speak to any friends or associates who may be able to shed some light on her disappearance.”
“Harminder left home carrying only a handbag and a couple of library books. Her library card was activated at Coventry Central Library just before 1pm so we’d be interested in hearing from anyone who may have seen her there.”
Harminder’s described as 5’7″, with shoulder-length curly dark brown hair and brown eyes.
She was wearing blue jeans, a long shiny black coat with a hood and a maroon woollen hat and scarf.
