Rail users were hit by delays after a fire near Rugby railway station yesterday evening (Sunday).
Firefighters from Rugby and Southam were called to a blaze at a vehicle workshop in Railway Terrace at 19.01pm.
A Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said 30 per cent of the single-storey building was damaged by the fire and crews tackled the flames using breathing apparatus, a hose reel jet and a covering jet.
An exclusion zone was placed around Rugby station.
All London Midland and Virgin Trains services through Rugby were delayed by about an hour.
